The group is considered one of Korea's most innovative ensembles, drawing instrumental, vocal, and improvisation techniques from both Korean and Western jazz traditions. Having performed around the world, this festival will feature some of their major works, including The Other Side, Triumphant, Requiem and Pray.Â

Gyeonggi minyo was generally performed in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province in Korea. Gyeonggi minyo is characterized by a lilting tempo and a cheerful mood. Today’s performance will present Arirang,Taepyeong-ga(Song of Peace), Batnorae(Boating Song), Jajin Batnarae (Boating Song with Korean traditional Jajinmori rhythm).

 Seong geum yeon ryu (Seong geum yeon Style) Gayageum Sanjo is one of the most representativeof Gayageum Sanjo. It employs the Gutgeori and the Utmori rhythm. The song has various kinds of ‘Jo’ (Tune) that encompass imaginative and vibrant transitions and vibrato. Therefore, only an experiences performer can do it justice.
This performance portrays the skill and athleticism of percussionists. The dance features the Sangmo (a long ribbon attached on the hat) and the Bubpo (a feathered hat), which the performers move and spin around. This particular Pangut is a modern version of a large group dance of the farming festivals.
